Dr. Ellyn Gamberg is a psychotherapist licensed in both New York and Florida and is nationally board certified in Clinical Hypnosis. Throughout her twenty-five-year career, Dr. Gamberg has held college teaching positions in the Department of Psychology at The University of South Florida, University of Tampa and St. Leo College MacDill Air Force Base Campus. At St. Leo, Dr. Gamberg developed a curriculum training military officers in stress and crisis counseling. Additionally, Dr. Gamberg's work in The Unfolding Legacy of 9/11 (University Press of America, 2004) has received national recognition in the area of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She in the past has maintained a forensic practice, and is a recognized expert in assessing post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety and other debilitating mental conditions potentially impacting a jury or judiciary's decision.
Dr. Gamberg currently specializes in treating individuals with anxiety and adjustment disorders. She offers individual and group psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and educational seminars to individuals who seek change. Dr. Gamberg consults nationally, and maintains a private clinical practice in New York City .
